Lehi lost to Skyridge back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Lehi Pioneers had just enough and edged the Skyridge Falcons out 56-54.

It was another big night for Mckenzie Jepson, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Ellie Hill was another key player, going 6-for-11 en route to 19 points and six rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Skyridge lost, don't look at Merceius Mili. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Mili a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (75%). Another player making a difference was Bella Sika, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 12 points and six rebounds.

Lehi's record is now 12-9. As for Skyridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Lehi didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-42 loss against Lone Peak on the 11th. As for Skyridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 73-69 win against Pleasant Grove on the 11th.
