Basketball Recap: Northridge Falls Short Against Ranked Warsaw

On Saturday, Northridge faced Warsaw in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The match between the Northridge Raiders and the Warsaw Tigers didn't end well, with the Northridge Raiders falling 60-44. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Northridge had strong showings from Lily Scholl, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards, and Rielyn Goodwin, who posted 13 points. The game was Scholl's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Camryn Conley was another key player, putting up eight points.

Northridge's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 16-3. As for Warsaw, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Northridge will be playing at home against Penn at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Penn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season. As for Warsaw, they will venture away from home to face off against Mishawaka at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Mishawaka: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Warsaw has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
