Saguaro is a perfect 10-0 against Marcos de Niza since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Sabercats are taking a road trip to square off against the Padres at 3:45 p.m.

Saguaro came up short against Chaparral on Monday, falling 10-4. The Sabercats haven't had much luck with the Firebirds recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Jake Claver was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Marcos de Niza beat Goldwater 6-3 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Padres.

Saguaro's loss dropped their record down to 11-10-1. As for Marcos de Niza, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.

Saguaro took their win against Marcos de Niza in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will the Sabercats repeat their success, or do the Padres have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
