Baseball Game Preview: Wilkes Central Eagles vs. Forbush Falcons

For the second straight game, Wilkes Central will face off against Forbush. The Eagles will welcome the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wilkes Central is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Wilkes Central fell victim to Forbush and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 12-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

For Forbush's part, they got a massive performance out of Dylan McClamrock, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave McClamrock a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaron Hutchens, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Forbush's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Wilkes Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
