Volleyball Recap: Central Private Takes a Loss

After flying high against Capitol on Monday, Central Private came back down to earth. The Redhawks fell 3-1 to the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets on Wednesday. If the Redhawks were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Central Private's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 13-11. As for Catholic of Pointe Coupee, their win bumped their record up to 17-13.

Looking ahead, Central Private will take on Istrouma at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Catholic of Pointe Coupee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
