Williamsville piles up the points against Illini Central

Recap: Williamsville Bullets vs. Illini Central Cougars

The Williamsville Bullets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Illini Central 72-35 on the road. Williamsville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Williamsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carson Kohler, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Kohler has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. Brecken Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Williamsville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season. As for Illini Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamsville will take on Athens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Athens will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Williamsville is ranked 160th). As for Illini Central, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against New Berlin at 7:30 p.m. New Berlin is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
