Baseball Game Preview: Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers vs. Carolina Academy Trojans

The Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers will face off against the Carolina Academy Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Christ Church Episcopal is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Carolina Academy with a sharp 13-1 win on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cavaliers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Bennett Borders looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carter Phillips, who scored four runs while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Christ Church Episcopal's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 2-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
