Volleyball Recap: Gilbert Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Gilbert challenged Desert Ridge on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Desert Ridge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Gilbert will challenge rival Williams Field at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Desert Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Higley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
