Volleyball Recap: Falkner Takes a Loss

Falkner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the New Site Royals, falling 3-0. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-16.

New Site's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roxy Marshall, who had 13 kills and three aces. Those 13 kills gave Marshall a new career-high. Kendall Reese was another key player, getting 12 assists and six aces.

Falkner's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for New Site, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Falkner will head out to take on Jumpertown at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Site, they will host Biggersville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
