Fullerton came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Whittier Christian Heralds by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fullerton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.

Fullerton's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Whittier Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
