Southwestern has struggled against Wesclin recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Southwestern still got an impressive performance from Ian Brantley, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds. The contest was Brantley's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Rocky Darr was another key contributor, scoring 4 points.
Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Wesclin, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
