Attleboro hadn't done well against Mansfield recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Bombardiers had just enough and edged out the Hornets 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-3 back in April.

Attleboro's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Mansfield, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Attleboro will take on Wachusett Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. The Mountaineers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bombardiers surely won't give up without a fight. Mansfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
