Softball Recap: Berne Union Rockets vs. Mt. Gilead Indians

Berne Union can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Mt. Gilead Indians with a sharp 16-8 win. This was a revenge match for Berne Union, as the team was forced to settle for a 16-12 defeat when these two played on Saturday.

Berne Union let Mia Hintz and Josilyn Hedges loose on the outfield. Hintz scored four runs while going 3-for-4, while Hedges scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddie Schorr, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.
