Volleyball Recap: Howell Triumphs

Howell won the last time they faced Timberland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Vikings walked away with a 3-1 victory over the T-Wolves.

Howell was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 17-25, 25-17.

Jackson Bradley paced Howell's offense, picking up 17 kills. Bradley got some help from Blake Spiller and his 33 assists. Bradley was also a major player on defense: he and Garrett Bossler shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Howell's win bumped their record up to 13-15. As for Timberland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Howell has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Marquette on the 7th. As for Timberland, they will face off against Liberty at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The T-Wolves are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
