Soccer Recap: Magnolia Heights Comes Up Short

After flying high against Strayhorn last Tuesday, Magnolia Heights came back down to earth. The Magnolia Heights Chiefs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lamar Raiders on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 last Friday.

Magnolia Heights now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Lamar, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Magnolia Heights wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Pillow Academy on the 27th. Lamar has also already played their next game, a 2-2 defeat against Heritage Academy on the 28th.
