Baseball Recap: Potomac School Find Success

It's playoff time, and Potomac School had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Saint James Saints on Tuesday, sneaking past 5-3. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won nine in a row.

Aidan Kaminski tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Wyatt Pence, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Ian Parrish was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Potomac School's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Saint James, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Potomac School didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Flint Hill on the 8th. Saint James does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
