Volleyball Recap: Washington-Wilkes Comes Up Short

Washington-Wilkes lost against Elbert County last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-6.

Washington-Wilkes' loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Elbert County, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7.

Coincidentally, Washington-Wilkes and Elbert County will both be playing Banks County the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will host the Leopards at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
