Basketball Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian lost against Drummond back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Valley Christian Eagles were beaten by the Drummond Trojans 59-19. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sydney Schneider was Valley Christian's leading scorer, having posted six points. Carmandee Coghlan took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Valley Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Drummond, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-7 record.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Victor the next time they take the court. Valley Christian will host Victor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Drummond will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th.
