Football Recap: Boston English/New Mission Comes Up Short at Home Against Somerville

Boston English/New Mission unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to the Somerville Highlanders at home by a 35-18 margin on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost three in a row.

Somerville's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Boston English/New Mission will take on Randolph at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belmont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
