Living Word Lutheran extended their postseason success on Thursday against Laconia. They blew past the Spartans 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Timberwolves sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Living Word Lutheran walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-19.

Eden Roethel paced Living Word Lutheran's offense, picking up 23 kills. Roethel got some help from Emree Kellerman and her 35 assists. Roethel and Kellerman didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Laconia lost, don't look at Josie Basler. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs and one assist. Basler is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Living Word Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 33-7. As for Laconia, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 26-7.

Living Word Lutheran didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Luther Prep on the 1st. Laconia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
