Softball Recap: Villa Rica Wildcats vs. South Paulding Spartans
If Villa Rica was riding high fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Bowdon last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the South Paulding Spartans by a score of 9-8 on Wednesday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Peyton Harrison spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven earned (and two unearned) runs on 14 hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
