Baseball Recap: Woodville Comes Up Short

Woodville and Kirbyville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Woodville had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-6. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Woodville's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Kirbyville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-10-1.

As of now, neither Woodville nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
