Basketball Game Preview: Mainland Buccaneers vs. North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles

The Mainland Buccaneers will square off against the North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Florida Educational Institute took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mainland, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Mainland didn't have too much trouble with Colonial as they won 58-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, North Florida Educational Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to University Christian on the road by a 67-50 margin. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Christians are ranked 58th).

North Florida Educational Institute's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mainland, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
