Football Game Recap: Summit vs. Grand Terrace

Grand Terrace brought a three-game winning streak into their game against Summit next week; they left with a four-game streak. Grand Terrace took their contest against Summit on Friday 27-15.

Grand Terrace's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 27 first-half points. Meanwhile, Summit couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 27-0 heading into the break. Although Grand Terrace wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The matchup pushed Summit down to 3-6 and pulled Grand Terrace up to the reverse at 6-3.

The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Grand Terrace will take on Kaiser at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Summit, they will face off against Bloomington. Bloomington stagger in eager to bring about an end to their seven-game losing streak.
