Softball Game Preview: Airline Vikings vs. Stanley Panthers

The Airline Vikings will take on the Stanley Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Airline got the win against Zwolle by a conclusive 7-1.

Meanwhile, Stanley came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 4, 2024.

Stanley's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Airline, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
