Softball Recap: Lake Mills Find Success

While Lake Mills's victory against Elkhorn wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The L-Cats skirted past the Elks 6-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the L-Cats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lake Mills' victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Elkhorn, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Coincidentally, Lake Mills and Elkhorn will both be playing Oconomowoc the next time they take the field. The Elks will head out to face the Raccoons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the L-Cats will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
