            Softball Recap: Caldera vs. Sandy Pioneers        
        
		
        
        
            Caldera was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They lost  11-1 to the Sandy Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Caldera of the  8-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March of 2024.
  Elie Hall was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with one  triple and one  run.
Caldera's record is now 0-6. As for Sandy,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-2.
 Looking ahead, Caldera will welcome Wilsonville  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sandy, they will venture away from home to  challenge Crescent Valley  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.43  runs per game on average), something the Pioneers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
