Baseball Game Preview: Castaic Coyotes vs. Crespi Celts

Castaic picked up another tournament win on Wednesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over San Marcos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Coyotes.

Andrew Bond tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jr Yera, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Travis Van Ness, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Crespi posted their biggest victory since March 13, 2024 on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Westlake as Crespi made off with a 9-1 win.

Castaic's record is now 2-0. As for Crespi, their record now sits at an identical 2-0.
