Football Game Recap: Clinton vs. Assumption

After a disappointing 7 points in the contest before, Assumption made sure to put some points up on the board against Clinton on Friday. Everything went Assumption's way against Clinton as they made off with a 40-7 win. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Assumption's flat performance the matchup before. The match brought Assumption to 2-3 and dropped Clinton to a mirror-image 3-2.

Assumption will look to defend their home turf next week against Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland at 7:00 PM. Central Clinton/Calamus-Wheatland took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Assumption's good fortune. Clinton will stay at home against Clear Creek-Amana at 7:30 PM.
