Volleyball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Greene County Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-20.

Charity Parnell paced Perry's offense, picking up six kills. Parnell got some help from Karagyn Whelchel and her eight assists.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Greene County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Ogden on the 11th. As for Greene County, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Nevada at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th.
