Baseball Recap: Mountain Range Comes Up Short

After flying high against Westminster on Tuesday, Mountain Range came back down to earth. The Mustangs came up short against the Boulder Panthers on Thursday, falling 19-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Mountain Range saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blane Dreher, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one triple.

Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Boulder, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Range will head out to challenge Brighton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boulder, they will venture away from home to face off against Grandview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
