Volleyball Recap: Manor Takes a Loss

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They came up short against the Vista Ridge Rangers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-11.

Vista Ridge was led to victory by Allyson Krienke and Addison Chenault. Krienke had six digs and four aces, while Chenault had six digs. That's the most aces Krienke has posted since back in September.

Manor's loss dropped their record down to 5-31. As for Vista Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Manor is set to take on their familiar foe Round Rock Westwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Vista Ridge will square off against rival Vandegrift at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
