Volleyball Game Preview: Redeemer Christian Lions vs. Beaches Chapel Lions

Redeemer Christian will head out to face off against Beaches Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Redeemer Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Meadowbrook Academy. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since August 25th, but that streak is no more.

Redeemer Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Beaches Chapel hadn't done well against Christ's Church Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 3-2.

Beaches Chapel wouldn't go down easily and took Christ's Church Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 12-25, 25-19, 15-10.

Redeemer Christian's record now sits at 18-6. As for Beaches Chapel, their record is now 14-5.
