It was a good run, but Menlo-Atherton unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 15-1 to the Woodside Wildcats. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Menlo-Atherton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Rodgers, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Menlo-Atherton's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Woodside, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Menlo-Atherton will head out to square off against Half Moon Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Woodside, they will welcome Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
