With a playoff win on the line, Arcola rose to the challenge on Thursday. They pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over the Tuscola Warriors. This was a revenge game for the Purple Riders: when they faced off against the Warriors back in November of 2024, they had to take a 34-33 loss.

Kacie Sisk continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 50% from the field on her way to 31 points and six boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Arcola's points. Another player making a difference was Crystal Ramirez, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Arcola is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. Tuscola's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-14.

Arcola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-34 loss against St. Anthony on the 22nd. Tuscola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
