Softball Recap: Uintah Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Uintah couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 10-4 to the Dixie Flyers on Wednesday. The Utes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ellie Lewis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Uintah's loss dropped their record down to 21-4-1. As for Dixie, their win bumped their record up to 20-12.

Uintah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dixie, they will challenge Deseret Peak at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. The Flyers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
