Football Recap: Seymour Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Seymour, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Two Rivers Purple Raiders on Friday as they made off with a 28-8 win. That's more bragging rights for the Thunder, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Seymour's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points over those games. As for Two Rivers, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Seymour and Two Rivers will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Thunder are set to challenge their familiar foe Shawano Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Two Rivers will take on rival Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
