Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Madison Turner and Anna Elban Lead Grove Christian School to Victory

It was a Battle of the Birds when Grove Christian School took on Williamsburg Christian Academy on Monday. The Falcons blew past the Eagles 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grove Christian School took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-9, 25-15.

Leading Grove Christian School to victory were Anna Elban and Madison Turner. Elban had 23 assists, while Turner hit 83.3% for five kills and eight aces and four digs. That's the most digs Turner has posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Grove Christian School and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Grove Christian School will welcome Amelia Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Williamsburg Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against The Carmel School at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
