Softball Recap: Bruceville-Eddy Takes a Loss

Bruceville-Eddy lost against Bosqueville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bruceville-Eddy Eagles came up short against the Bosqueville Bulldogs, falling 12-2. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.

Bruceville-Eddy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kimber Diaz, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Diaz also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Bruceville-Eddy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Bosqueville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-3-1.

Looking ahead, Bruceville-Eddy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. Bruceville-Eddy is facing Hamilton at the right time seeing as Hamilton is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Bosqueville, they will venture away from home to challenge Valley Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
