Cross never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Legacy Christian Academy last Friday. They blew past the Black Labs 13-1.
Savannah Hollings was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Hollings was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Bethany Carlson was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Alaysia Hollings, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
