Valley Regional/Old Lyme took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They managed an 18-12 win over the Morgan Huskies. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Looking ahead, Valley Regional/Old Lyme will take on Windsor Locks/Suffield/East Granby at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgan, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Branford at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th.
