Basketball Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss

Eagle Point lost against Crater back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagle Point Eagles came up short against the Crater Comets, falling 80-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Comets since February 11, 2020.

Eagle Point has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Crater, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Eagle Point will challenge North Eugene at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Crater, they will face off against Churchill at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Churchill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Crater likes a good challenge.
