Baseball Recap: Jersey Takes a Loss

Jersey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Triad Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 on Monday.

Jersey's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Triad, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Jersey will welcome Carrollton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Triad, they will head out to square off against Sacred Heart-Griffin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cyclones will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
