Basketball Recap: Magee Comes Up Short

The Magee Trojans had to suffer through an 81-44 loss at the hands of the Bryant Hurricanes.

Bryant got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mari-Margret Grayson out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine steals. That's the most points Grayson has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Williams, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Magee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Magee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-34 defeat against Northeast Jones on the 11th. As for Bryant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-54 victory against UMS-Wright Prep on the 13th.
