Basketball Recap: LaGrange Comes Up Short

LaGrange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Fayette County Tigers and fell 69-20. The Grangers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-9.

LaGrange's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Fayette County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.

LaGrange will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Clayton on December 30th. As for Fayette County, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Paulding at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
