Soccer Recap: Marysville Getchell Falls to Bellingham in First Game of Season

Marysville Getchell had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Bellingham Bayhawks. Marysville Getchell was not able to make up for their loss to Bellingham from their previous meeting back in March of 2018.

Looking ahead, Marysville Getchell will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Oak Harbor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be Marysville Getchell's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Bellingham, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Nooksack Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will also give Bellingham their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
