Football Recap: Willow Springs Takes a Loss

Willow Springs fell victim to Liberty and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 51-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Willow Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Willow Springs will take on Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Liberty, they will challenge Mountain Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
