Basketball Recap: Watonga Comes Up Short

Watonga was the 56-39 winner over Chisholm when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Watonga Eagles came up short against the Chisholm Longhorns on Thursday, falling 56-36. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watonga's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Chisholm, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-11.

Watonga has already played their next game (against Mooreland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chisholm didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-38 defeat against Texhoma on the 31st.
