Basketball Game Preview: Chipley Tigers vs. Bay Tornadoes

The Chipley Tigers will square off against the Bay Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Chipley is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Enterprise just ended the team's nine-game winning streak back in December of 2024. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Wildcats an easy 40-16 victory. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Addyson Suggs put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, Bay entered their tilt with Marianna on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 43-36 win over the Bulldogs.

Chipley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Bay, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Everything went Chipley's way against Bay when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Chipley made off with a 65-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chipley since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
