Football Recap: Hokes Bluff Eagles vs. Randolph County Tigers
Hokes Bluff had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it four. They took a hard 25-7 fall against the Randolph County Tigers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.
As for Randolph County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.5 points over those games.
Maruice Winston had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 165 yards and one score while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Winston is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 132 every time he's taken the field this season.
As of now, neither Hokes Bluff nor Randolph County have any future games scheduled.
